“The knot of Eve’s disobedience was loosed by the obedience of Mary. For what the virgin Eve had bound fast through unbelief, this did the virgin Mary set free through faith.”
—St. Irenaeus of Lyons
Few devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary have spread more in recent years than Our Lady, Undoer of Knots. When the faithful encounter trying moments, when all hope seems to be lost, they turn to their mother.
“Come with me to my Son,” she tells us. And all is unbound.
Through ordinary and everyday situations, rhymed verse, whimsical art, and subtle theology, this charming work—one of the first children’s books to celebrate this beloved devotion—will teach everyone in the family how to approach their mother when they are in need.
Just as she untangled the knot of fallen humanity through her fiat, so Our Lady does for us in all our difficulties, both big and small, by teaching us to say yes to God.
Our Lady Undoer of Knots, pray for us!

Wonderfuil.
I have read a few books written by Sylvia Dorham over the years, and I believe this is the first I have read illustrated by Mia Sasseer. I really enjoy Dorham’s monk’s series, especially The Monks Make Amends. This one is a little different. It is absolutely a picture book for the earliest of readers. With a maximum of 4 lines per page, though most have 2, and a maximum of 6 words per line, though most have less. The description of this book is: ““The knot of Eve's disobedience was loosed by the obedience of Mary. For what the virgin Eve had bound fast through unbelief, this did the virgin Mary set free through faith.” —St. Irenaeus of Lyons Few devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary have spread more in recent years than Our Lady, Undoer of Knots. Just as she untangled the knot of fallen humanity through her fiat, so Our Lady does for us in all our difficulties, both big and small, by teaching us to say yes to God. Our Lady, Undoer of Knots, pray for us!” The book was not what I was expecting. I was hoping for a history of the devotion, which was completely absent in the book. I really liked the page with the titles of Mary, it could lead to some great discussion. And the lessons in the book are well written. The volume is listed as 24 pages. But it honestly feels shorter. I got to the page with the About the Author information and was surprised. I was surprised I was at the end, and that there was no information about the Illustrator. The illustrations are wonderful. Even for young readers the book is a little light on content. That being said it is still a good volume.

Beautiful
Thank you to @tan_books for the copy of this book. This is a beautiful children’s book about Our Lady Undoer of Knots. It is told through the perspective of a child learning how simple it is to ask Our Lady to undo the knots in his life. These things range from arguing with a sibling, behavior they aren’t proud of, reminding a parent about Our Lady and more. The illustrations are beautiful and the story simple, just like our relationship should be with Our Lady. This book is also a wonderful reminder to any adults of the beauty, power, and simplicity of this devotion. I highly recommend this book for children and cannot wait to gift it to children in my own life. I voluntarily received a copy of this book from the publisher. All views are simply my honest opinion.

Such a beautiful book!
My toddler (almost 3) loves this book, and so do I! Its so sweet and I feel like it is truly teaching my daughter how she can go to Mary for help in a way that makes sense to her. It can be hard to teach the Faith to children at their level and this book is such a good resource to teach little ones about how our lady intercedes for us and helps us.

Our Lady undoer of Knots
I love the story. I love the concept. Only criticism is that there is a typo on page 2 of the story. Left side: the page that starts with: "Her name? She;s got plenty!" and ends with "Our Lady Undoer of knots" Just to the left of the name tag it says: "But do you know this one? "Under of Knots."

Good childrens book
A very good book acquainting children under age 9 or so with the dependence we have on Our Blessed Mother for everything. Not so good if bought for adult reading by mistake. The shipping wrapper was terribly difficult to remove from around the pamphlet. It was more a large pamphlet than a book.
