Excellent book; perfect reading for the season of Lent. It is highly detailed reading but you will learn so much about drawing closer to the Lord.

One of my confessors often says, God is not complicated, and another stay focused on your station in life. These simple 12 steps lay it out for one to easily stay focused and to understand God better. Yes, developing a path to holiness takes effort, so does staying physically healthy. Keeping our soul healthy pays off in eternity, physical efforts are only temporary. Good book to read again in the future.
