Loved it!
Well written and kept my attention. Great introduction to the story of Our Lady of Good Help. This is a story about a fictional family but based on true events. I'd say good for middle school and up. Glad I read it. My 18 yr old, who has been away from the church, even wanted to read it after I told her about it!

We have to believe the Blessed Virgin Mary visits us to bring very important messages. Our Lady of Champion told us to teach the children catechism. Catechism is woven so beautifully into this story. You will feel like you are right there every step of the way with Sister Adele and Slainey. By the end, you will wish you could personally meet all the characters. Oh to be one of the fortunate families on whose door Sister Adele knocked. I am so inspired to start the new catechism year. Thank you Mrs. Theoni Bell!

The Author has a gift for creating the scenes
It is difficult to put this book down because the Author has such a talent for painting the scenes with her detailed descriptions of the surroundings and the feelings of the characters. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone.
