Give your child a solid foundation in the faith with the acclaimed Our Holy Faith series of religion textbooks for grades 1–8. Our Holy Faith has long been a great orthodox resource for families looking to impart the truths of the Catholic faith to their children. Now, these beautifully re-typeset TAN Books editions have been revised to include modernized language and updates to the practices of the Catholic Church and enhanced with additional content, including further explanations of core concepts and relevant quotes from the Bible, the saints, and the Catechism.
But catechesis is only half the battle; we also want our children to be holy. The Our Holy Faith series aims to engage your children spiritually as well as intellectually with various activities provided in the “For Me to Do” sections of each lesson. These new TAN editions also include traditional prayers from the saints and other faithful sources that are pertinent to the topic under discussion for your children to exercise their faith.
In Book 4: Bread of Life students will learn how the Church has arranged the whole year to help us live the truths of our Holy Faith by re-living the life of Christ with our Blessed Redeemer in the seasons and feasts of the liturgical year, in both the ordinary and extraordinary forms.
Textbook includes tests and answer key. A pastoral video series is also available.

Questions in Chapter Review aren’t answered in the texg
The textbook is beautiful and the content is orthodox. I’d say that the reading level is more challenging and probably is better suited to a 5th grader than a 4th. However, the main problem I have with the book, is that the answers to the chapter review questions are oftentimes not found within the text. For example, in Chapter 10 review question #17 asks, “May a person who has already died receive the Anointing of the Sick?” But nowhere in the chapter does it speak of this. The only time it does is in the very back in the answer key. This occurs throughout both of the Our Holy Faith textbooks (Grades 4 & 6) and is very frustrating for my children and me.

Everything I wanted it to be for our 3rd grader
We have tried a few other religion resource supplements for our homeschooling and this one is rated the best of 3. Both parent and child enjoy the short concise chapters and the discussion questions at the end. This is what religion should be, not full of busywork or dry reading for children. My son looks forward to our faithful reading and conversation about faith. The pictures are beautiful too. A friend compared it to her family resource and said while it was similar, certainly a nicer layout and more beautiful pictures.
