Cultivating Virtue: Self-Mastery With The Saints
This book is about what I expected: easy-reading, short accounts of Saints applying and demonstrating virtue in their lives. It's informative and helpful. One drawback is the cover material. It's that faux-leather that feels good, soft, and flexible when new, but soon wears off and begins flaking after subjected to regular use.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Each month a different virtue and each day a bit to read about this virtue with stories from various saints. A great meditation to incorporate for any busy person. Useful for adults and youth.

Nice book
This book is full of daily saints quotes and advice for anyone trying to be a saint too and get to Heaven. It's a larger book with a nice cover and heavy paper pages. A nice addition to my little library. Thank you.

timeless Catholic wisdom
TAN books has done well again by publishing this book (notice original imprimatur in 1891). Excellent spiritual reading especially for confused novus ordo Catholics --- TAN books were instrumental in my conversion to the traditional Latin Mass.
