The cover is flexible like leather and seems very durable. I also like the color, not too red, more wine. It&#039;s a great size to carry with you too, and usually other people in the classes I attend have other translations, so this adds variety, and in my experience it has helped me understand the subtle meaning of some passages better. The language is different but I&#039;venever had a problem understanding it. I thought the translation might be similar to the KJV, but It&#039;s totally different since this is a translation of the Latin Vulgate whereas KJV is a translation of the Greek Septuagint. Every serious Bible student should have this version as a compliment to other translations.
