Excellent Psalter
I highly recommend this Psalter to anyone wanting to pray the Psalms during the canonical hours of the day. The translation utilizes "thee," "thy," "thou," and the like but it is still surprisingly readable and easy to follow. It is paperback with a leather-like surface on the outside cover, which makes it surprisingly sturdy. This can be carried portably as the book is small enough to fit in the hand; pages are a bit similar to Bible paper but aren't super thin. My only gripe is that the titles of the individual hours are somewhat hard to find at times, but once you learn the layout, it becomes a non-issue.

My daily psalm book
This is a beautiful prayer book which covers all needs emotional and spiritual. There is a prayer guide which recommends appropriate psalms for morning, evening, communion, visits to the Blessed Sacrament, etc. Psalms are arranged by the hours each day and is a way for anyone to speak to God by the anointed words he gives us.

Excellent for your Divine Office/Liturgy of the Hours Collection
I have purchased over one hundred books from Tan Books. This small book follows the traditional Divine Office. If you pray the contemporary Liturgy of the Hours or The Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, you may enjoy this is another book in said genre. This book is a great book to have by you at all times. Its funny how sometimes the most insignificant (seemingly) of purchases can have such profound impact. Five stars and then some!
