Christ is really present in the Holy Eucharist! And therefore, the Holy Eucharist is the greatest gift in this world. But many have lost faith in Christ’s presence at every Mass.

This compelling book provides the most convincing proofs for the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist from Scripture, Tradition, and scientific investigations of Eucharistic miracles.

Accompanied by Church Fathers Ignatius of Antioch, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus of Lyons and Cyril of Jerusalem, Fr. George Elliott leads the reader to an encounter with our Lord like a first century Christian. Dr. Stacy Transacos analyzes the popular Eucharistic miracles reported in Bolsena and Lanciano, Italy, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a twenty-first-century chemist’s objectivity. Together, Fr. Elliott and Dr. Trasancos lead you from the burning faith of the saints to the light of the Gospels, to modern science, and right back to the Word.

With well researched details and thought provoking questions at the end of each chapter, this book will convict and empower you to evangelize to the world that the Holy Eucharist is not a symbol but truly flesh, bone, hands, and feet. “Behold,” Christ said, “It is I."

    A Profound Book

As fewer Catholics believe in the Real Presence, this book is a cry from every parent;s heart. This beautiful book relies on both Scripture and Tradition to reaffirm the Church;s teaching on the Real Presence. And that is not all. The authors also discuss the Eucharistic Miracles, which will take you on a fascinating faith journey. A must read!

    Highly recommended!

As someone who is very familiar with the New Testament passages that support Catholics; belief in the Real Presence in the Eucharist as well as the writings of the early Church Fathers addressing the topic, I purchased this book mainly because I was interested in learning about Dr. Trasancos; perspectives on scientific analysis that has been performed on Church-approved Eucharistic miracles. Although Part III of the book, What Does Science Say, was fascinating, to my delight the perspectives shared in Part I of the book, What Does the Bible Say, were even more eye-opening. I especially enjoyed the discussion of the Old Testament prefigurements of the Eucharist and the post-Crucifixion passages in Luke, Acts and First Corinthians. Taken together with the context and insights the book provides around the bread of life discourse in John 6 and the institution narratives in Matthew, Mark, Luke and First Corinthians, Part I of the book by itself presents a COMPELLING case for the Real Presence. Add to this the unmistakable belief in the Real Presence evidenced by the writings of four of the early Church Fathers highlighted in Part II of the book, and what modern science can (and can;t) tell us about Church-approved Eucharistic miracles in Part III of the book, and the reader is left which a much deeper understanding of the Real Presence. Whether you are a Catholic seeking to deepen your understanding of and faith in the Real Presence, or a non-Catholic seeking to better understand the scriptural and other reasons supporting this belief, this book is for you.

The combination of scripture. Patristics, and science more than adequately prove that the Eucharist is His body and His blood.
