Every Catholic should be taught the Faith by the best books.
Every Catholic should have a copy of the Catechism that will last them a lifetime.
Every Catholic should have a copy of the Catechism of the Council of Trent.
For, as Pope Leo XIII once said on this very book,
“This work is remarkable at once for the richness and exactness of its doctrine, and for the elegance of its style; it is a precious summary of all theology, both dogmatic and moral. He who understands it well will have always at his service those aids by which a priest is enabled to preach with fruit, to acquit himself worthily of the important ministry…of the direction of souls, and will be in a position to refute the objections of unbelievers.”
This beautiful, embossed hardcover Catechism will last decades and become one of the most essential books on your shelf. The sturdy binding and attractive typesetting will help you to navigate and understand the most important truths of the Catholic Faith throughout your life.
The Catechism of the Council of Trent, compiled under the supervision of St. Charles Borromeo and approved by Pope St. Pius V, has been recognized as the most authoritative catechism by many of the greatest popes, such as St. Pius X, Clement XIII, Benedict XV, Leo XIII, and many others. It has been used by clergy and laymen for over 400 years as a source of the clear and simple truths of the Faith.
To ordinary people, to great theologians, to popes, and even to saints, this catechism has been a guide and companion—the Catechism of the Council of Trent will become your steady guide in the confusion of the modern age.

Beauty and Simplicity
I am a convert, this Easter will be 11 years as a full Catholic. I was brought in through Mother Angelica, and Tradition and the Latin etc. I have the current CCC, and I like it well enough, I’ve just always wanted a good copy of the Roman Catechism. TAN Books did amazing. Great quality and so easy to read. I think all Catholics should use this with the CCC like I do.

The Catechism of the Council of Trent
Having grown up with the Baltimore catechism, I wasn't old enough to be able to read the Catechism that it was was drawn from. When I had the chance to purchase and actually read through the Catechism of the Council of Trent, it was so refreshing to read such a clear accounting of our Faith! I have taught the "recent" catechism, and teaching its contents made me appreciate the beauty and clarity of this Catechism of the Council of Trent. Its simplicity counsel to holiness is so refreshing. Additionally, the binding of this volume is beautiful!

Too Small
Beautiful catechism however the book itself is much smaller and the quality was not what I was expecting. I purchased it on sale but would have been very disappointed if I spent almost $50 on it.

Great teachings
Interesting reading. A Blessed Pope indeed, an important figure of the Catholic Church.

The Council of Trent Catechism
I already love this book as a reference to help me navigate the modern miasma of doctrine emanating from the Vatican. It’s obvious to me (with my humbly UN-credentialed, prayer-buttressed discernment & love of my faith); that the shepherd should NOT be insisting that the sheep repeatedly VOTE on HOW the flock should be shepherded. We need a Shepherd in Rome who stalwartly points out the cliffs, crevices, unhealthy fodder, predators, etc., with love of Christ as HIS guide. Like the faithful men who painstakingly compiled this magisterium guide for the faithful. Adeste Fideles

This is only a precursor. I have scaneed the tome and it is intreguing
I am into catechism and to the teaching ministry of the Church and its history all the way back to the founding fathers and especially the Didiche. It is also part of the Council of Trent's response to Martin Luther and th Augsburg Confession written by Philip Melancthon.
