It is the traditional psalm numbering going back to the numbering of the Latin Vulgate bible and the Greek Septuagint. I have nothing but praise for the font, typeset, red-lettering for Our Lord&#039;s words, the encyclicals, St. Jerome&#039;s notes, and the list of Popes. This is a MUST HAVE Bible for anyone that wants a DRA.\r\n\r\nI am frustrated though with the quality of the Bible in some places, firstly, the lettering on the cover degrades really easily, secondly, the bookmarks came frayed, and there are some typos such as the title for some of the NT books. There is also sometimes text near Christ’s dialogue which has been printed in red but is not His spoken words.\r\n\r\nThe cover and into/outro pages feel and look cheap and plasticky. I’d rather find a hardcover or natural leather. The gold leaf faded within a week.\r\n\r\nI do appreciate the footnotes throughout connecting scripture throughout the New and Old Testaments and the mini summaries at the beginnings of the chapters and books.
