Overview
Children naturally learn how to behave in places of importance, yet many need gentle guidance when entering the house of God. Manners in God’s House helps young Catholics understand that the church is the dwelling place of the King of Kings and that reverence before the Holy Eucharist matters deeply. Through charming illustrations and simple explanations, this classic guide teaches children how to act respectfully at Mass and how to grow in prayer.
Originally issued in 1950 and now presented as a combined edition of three beloved books, this volume introduces children to the meaning of prayer, the reverence due to the Blessed Sacrament, and the beauty of the Holy Mass. Its engaging format includes the memorable “9 Rules for Visitors to the King,” an illustrated mini-missal that walks children through each part of the Mass, and clear explanations of essential Catholic prayers broken down phrase-by-phrase for easy understanding.
Durable and compact, this hardcover book is perfectly sized for young hands and made to travel anywhere—church, classroom, or home—helping children form habits of reverence and devotion from an early age.
