My daily bread
Already owned a smaller version pocket size of this book and bought the larger leather version because I like it so much. Getting it on sale was an added bonus and the book is simply terrific. Thank you so much TAN for making this possible

This has been a wonderful part of my prayer life for decades. It helps lead you down the path to holiness. When I finish, I admit I am nowhere near there so start over again. It provides such profound direction in my life on a daily basis. I read a chapter a day at the beginning of my day. I was so happy to find the larger version with the leatherette cover. They make wonderful gifts also! Our adult children still have them from their teenage years and use read them often.

This text offers much to work through the stages of the Spiritual Life. From Purgation to Imitation Of Christ to Union, there are a fair amount of reflections for each phase. Easy reading, not too scholarly, but with much wisdom. The deluxe leatherette is a very nice book that will last with sewn pages & a ribbon
