I struggled with the translation, but kept trying to glean nuggets of wisdom and understanding from it from time to time. A friend told me of the edition published by TAN books which I ordered immediately. I began reading it as soon as it arrived. While I still pace my reading of it and meditate on each sentence, I must say that this translation is much easier for me to absorb. Also the illustrations add to opportunities of contemplation. I like the bonded leather cover with the zipper closure. I think this design will protect the edges of the pages making it retain its good looks and the integrity of the binding for years to come. I am very happy with this new and improved translation of one of the greatest devotional books.
