“And I find that the Son of God, descending from heaven and assuming human flesh in the virginal womb of the Most Holy Virgin Mary, up to the day on which He ascended to heaven, did thirty principal deeds, which are comprehended and reprised in the Mass.” —Saint Vincent Ferrer
Saint Vincent Ferrer (1350–1419) was a devout preacher of penance, a precursor of the Last Judgment, filled with zeal. In his twenty-year commission, he brought countless souls into the one true Catholic Faith. In this brief yet powerful booklet, The Life of Christ in the Mass, St. Vincent Ferrer clearly explains how thirty key events from Jesus’s life are represented in the Mass. This is the perfect meditation for any Catholic who wants to draw near to Our Lord in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Walk with Christ throughout the parts of the Mass with St. Vincent as your guide.

Beautiful little book!
This little booklet is a great resource to deepen a family’s love and understanding of the Mass! St. Vincent Ferrer broke the Mass up into 30 sections representing the 30 principal deeds in the life of Christ. Each principal deed is just a couple paragraphs. We are using it to read just one deed at a time either on the way to Mass or during our read aloud. My goal is for the family to slowly take notice of the new symbols in the liturgy each time we go to Mass.

Experience the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with more intensity and depth
I love going to Mass as much as I can but sometimes, it can become a habit and one that I take for granted. This wonderful booklet explained perfectly the intensity and depth of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. I learned so much from reading this booklet and have read it again and again. I found that each time I read it, I learn more and go deeper with my understanding of the Mass. I have even taken it with me to read before Mass so that it is "fresh", and I can feel each moment unfold before me. This is an excellent book for all Catholics and especially those who are coming into the Church as adults and may even be a great gift for Confirmation students (if not required reading!)
