Inspirational and Entertaining!
As a homeschooling mom of 7, with 17 years of teaching under my belt, I can tell you all about trying to find great versions of Aesop's Fables. Hands down, this is the best one I have found! The main reason is that, typical of Good and True Media, it brings the quest for virtue to the forefront. In a clear, engaging way, it presents the fables along with the moral lessons that accompany it. As a busy mother, I love reading fables to my kids, but I don't have time to "decode" the moral lesson behind each fable. This book does it for you and helps your child ponder each virtue and vice behind each fable. It is amazingly illustrated as well. What a gift from God to our children!
