The videos do a nice job of tying together the chapter learning and reinforcing the reading of the book. I highly recommend getting both the book and the video series together. I have recommended these books to other Catholic families as the content is excellent. The videos are visually highly effective and the quizzes are the highlight of my childrens learning. I am determined to buy the test book as it will surely aid memorisation of facts. I have not invested in the workbook as my children are in their early teens; however, I encourage them to summarise the book, and watch the videos whilst creating mind maps to document learning. Overall, a quality resource for Catholic families. \nWe are now using the TAN Academy lectures for our 14 year old who is studying Shakespeare.
