NO catholics, even priests, could understand who Mary is until you read these books. It is mystical and it shows how God saved mankind through Mary after Adam and Eve sinned. Without her there is no salvation. She is Divine, out of the touch of sin, and only through her immaculate conception was she able to bear and bring Jesus to us. She is the Co Redemptrix in every sense. I read this and the abridged version again and again. once you read these books, you will have a clear understanding who Mary is and your respect for her will be different, like Heaven and Earth. As an electronics engineer is used logic to test it again and again and only in these book and the Life of the Virgin Mary (Anne Cartherimne Emmerich) one can have a complete picture who Mary is.
